Basic RDW services
RDW (Netherlands Vehicle Authority) provides us with data which is essentially suitable for the link between licence plate and make/model.
In addition, a lot of basic information is already available, such as the colour, unladen weight, registration date and APK (vehicle inspection certificate) expiry date, as well as the type of owner and environmental characteristics.
Extended RDW services
For this we use a richer dataset which offers even more dimensions, weights and emission data.
Commercial vehicle information
This involves the commercial vehicle information, such as a commercial vehicle name (BMW 3 Series 2.0 Dynamic) and commercial colour name (Ocean Blue, Snow White). But also a more comprehensive set of prices, such as the list price, BPM (vehicle purchase tax) and net list price. In many cases we also know the options and what could or could not be ordered on a particular vehicle. In addition, we can also say something about the cargo space volume of a van, for example.
We also have an extensive set of photographs of the passenger cars and light commercial vehicles.
Technical vehicle data
This comprises information which is relevant for servicing the vehicle. What parts can be ordered. Maintenance diagrams, so a mechanic knows how to replace a part. Servicing intervals to determine when the vehicle is due for the next service. Cost indications of servicing to be carried out (indications, since the mechanic rates are not known).
TCO
With all this information we are able to calculate a Total Cost of Ownership. This allows us to indicate the cost of vehicle ownership over 3 or 6 months, for instance.
Valuation
For the used market it is important to know the (residual) value of a vehicle. We have solutions for this too, whereby we compare the vehicle in question with similar vehicles offered elsewhere. This enables us to arrive at an up-to-date valuation using relevant characteristics.
Owner history
Vehicles change hands regularly. From dealer to a decorating company, from a decorating company on to another dealer or garage, from there on to a private individual, etc.
We can show all these changes chronologically.
Odometer check
With this service we can indicate whether an odometer reading makes sense, which may be relevant when buying a used vehicle.
Statistical data
We can show statistically in which region the most BMWs of a certain model, type and year of manufacture have been sold. This can be useful for positioning in the market.
Or how many APK vehicle inspections have been carried out and in which area. How many vehicles of a certain type are still on the road. There area lots of possibilities, but in these cases we primarily look at the customer’s needs.
